Portsmouth RI 2020 Christmas Tree Pickup Schedule.

Starting Monday January 6th 2020 The Portsmouth Department of Public Works will be starting to pick up discarded Christmas Tree. Pick up schedule is based on your voting location.  If you are new to Portsmouth Rhode Island and you don’t know where you vote you can go over here where to vote put your address and it will display your precinct.

MONDAY, JANUARY 6, 2020
Precincts 2702 and 2703: You voted at Portsmouth Senior Center (2702) or CFP Center for Arts, Wellness, and
Community (fka Common Fence Point Community Hall) (2703).
TUESDAY, JANUARY 7, 2020
Precinct 2704: You voted at Portsmouth High School.
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 8, 2020
Precincts 2705 and 2706: You voted at Melville School (2705) or Town Hall Council Chambers (2706).
THURSDAY, JANUARY 9, 2020
Precinct 2707: You voted at St. Barnabas Church.
FRIDAY, JANUARY 10, 2020
Precinct 2708: You voted at Portsmouth Middle School.

Rules for the PDPP to pickup your Christmas Tree in 2020.

1. 7am your trees must be curbside.
2. Trees must not be in plastic bag and stripped of any decorations

What if you miss your date? You can bring your tree to Department of Public Works off of Hedley Street. Portsmouth Transfer station will NOT accept your Tree.

The recycled trees are turned into mulch and is available for free to Portsmouth residents.

Update:
Simmons Farm on West Main Rd in Middletown is taking your donated Christmas 🎄 trees as food for their goats. No tinsel, sprays or ornaments of any kind.
Please drop it off to the left of the farm stand.
